  2. glad to hear you've got gears

within all is contradiction, grasshopper, as we contemplate perpetual,

also its opposite can be noble

    -- introspection --

I've got you somewhere 40ish miles east of eugene corvallis

it's blowing and raining up here

    hope your weather is better

remember the wise old bull who said that when you come to the edge of the abyss, backwards can be a good option

ombeline and mimi asked about you

I told them you had many rivers to cross

joe almost bought a small farm over the weekend...

sometimes strategic retreat can prepare one for another attempt at a different angle

    please be careful

    how about this?

    considering weather and injury

why don't you ride downhill to corvallis

    grab the coastal starlight amtrak

    get a roomette

it will come with two meals

come home and sit in a sauna?

I'll kick in fifty to see you out of pain

  4. I do appreciate the idea and the offer but unfortunately I'm a bit farther into the woods than that. I'm about 50 miles northeast of Bend. My next bit of civilization is Baker City. We'll see how I feel there. The knee has improved some with rest and ice.
